On June 5th, a proud tradition of Arizona Activism and Recognition continues with Equality Arizona’s 19th Annual Award’s Dinner. Once again, we will be hosted by the Fairmont Scottsdale for this gala event which promises to be an exciting evening for our LGBT community and friends.

This year’s theme, Our Future… Our Choice, speaks clearly to the direction we are moving toward. We are headed into a strong future with the work of many supporting us along the way.

We are honored to have David Mixner, longtime internationally known LGBT activist, author and political strategist as recipient of the Barry Goldwater Human Rights Award. David will also inspire and motivate us as our keynote speaker this year. Ryan O’Meara and his mother Sue, of Palavela Home in Scottsdale, have graciously agreed to be our honorary co-chairs.They will also be hosting a silent/live auction at the event. Watch for details!

We are excited to have Donna Rossi as our emcee again this year and Ally Shore of A Shore Thing Productions as production designer. Together, they will create an evening of hope and inspiration for us all.
